Service delivery walkthrough
A short product video or annotated screenshot showing this workflow from the operator's point of view.
What happens
Follow this routine when your team is doing this work for real.
- 1Open the dispatched job or technician dispatch view.
- 2Confirm customer, location, service, scheduled time, assigned resources, notes, and required tasks.
- 3Move status from dispatched to in progress and capture actual start.
- 4Complete service tasks and add completion notes that can appear on customer-facing confirmation.
- 5Move status to completed so actual end is recorded, stock can be consumed, timesheets are created, and invoice_ready becomes true.
- 6Open the invoice when service and stock line items are ready for review or printing.
What this uses
The records Flowdexa connects behind the scenes.

- Stock
- Confirmed jobs reserve required stock; completed jobs consume it.
- Timesheets
- Completed jobs create timesheet rows for assigned resources.
- Invoices
- Completed jobs with invoice_ready show service, stock, customer, location, actual time, notes, and assigned resources on invoice pages.
- Notifications
- Assigned members receive job assignment notifications and can open the job from the inbox.
Before you call it done
